JEFF A.R. JONES has been working as a professional Fight Director for over 25 years. He is professionally credentialed as a Fight Director by the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). He has staged fights for theatre, opera, film/television/web, dance (pallet and modern), and video games for professional companies and educational institutions at all levels. His fights have encompassed unarmed, various historical styles of swordplay, knife, heavy weapons, comic fights, contemporary violence, found objects, dance and stylization, and a wide range of other forms and weapons. His approach is to create scenes of action driven by character and plot, while respecting the boundaries, identities, and lived experiences of the cast, crew, and audience.
